Outdoor advertising, when combined with online efforts, is incredibly effective. Especially when you can do something a little unexpected.

Billboard Advertising

There are ways to make still simple images look active. This outdoor billboard designed for golf.com, for example, would be far less interesting, if it animated like a web banner.

Charlotte Plastic Surgery

On the other hand, there are situations when moving elements can tell a great story. Here, a clock keeps turning backwards, reminding you that you could turn back time (at least on the surface). This moving billboard caught a lot of attention in the streets of Charlotte.

SCarowinds

This was a billboard we created for Carowinds, who becomes SCarowinds during the month of October to promote a devilish good time. When we first launched this billboard, we actually had a real person with a real chainsaw stand in, believe it or not. It cause some buzz when it got picked up by 6 o’clock news.

POMx Iced Coffee

An ad could also move around for you. This bugged-eye VW Bug drove around the city of Los Angeles to promote a healthy type of buzz created by POMx Iced Coffee, with plenty of antioxidants.

Phil

Versed in graphic design and advertising, Phil has worked at companies both large and small on international and national brands. His work has been recognized through a number of prestigious awards, including One Show, Communication Arts, CLIO, OBIE, International ANDY Awards, National ADDYs, Show South, Mobius and Effie. Phil also managed the Marketing & Design Department at INTEX Recreation Corp in Long Beach, California as a creative director for over ten years, overseeing print, digital and video work for over 2,000 products sold in over 120 countries worldwide.
